My New Linen Bedding by Piglet (Review)

My New Linen Bedding by Piglet (Review)

MY NEW LINEN BEDDING BY PIGLET - AND A DISCOUNT CODE FOR YOU TOO

I’m quite a recent convert to linen bedding, and cautiously tried it by buying some gorgeous grey linen pillowcases from Piglet in Bed, which I immediately loved. I always loved the way it looked, so effortlessly stylish, relaxed and cool,  yet I was never sure if it was me - I've been a white crisp cotton bedding kind of girl for many many years. In reality I hate ironing bedding, and my sheets were more creased than crisp anyway,  so the idea of linen bedding was more and more tempting.

I was however rather cautious about the expense of buying a whole set of linen bedding, despite my curiosity so I was thrilled when the lovely Jessica at Piglet asked if I'd like to a set of bedding to try.

The long and the short of this review is that I'm a complete convert to linen, and to Piglet!

I went for white bedding, but Piglet have a beautiful range of colours from a soft blush pink to a classic charcoal grey. They even have a beautiful midnight blue stripe. And by buying a bundle including a duvet cover, fitted sheet and pillowcases you pay 15% less than if you bought individual pieces.

Piglet make their bedding from 100% natural stonewashed French flax, and it gets softer and softer with wear. Ironing is optional (which is a definite bonus for me - no more ironing wedding, ever!) as the relaxed texture looks great straight out of the dryer or off the washing line.

And in these hot summer nights we've been having, my new bedding has been an absolute life saver - it really has helped keep me cooler. Apparently its loose natural flax is more breathable, and keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Piglet linens are pre-washed for softness and to make sure they won't shrink, lose their shape or fade. They're machine washable and can be tumble dried too.

I also love the fact that Piglet bedding comes with its own drawstring bag with a tag telling you what size bedding it is, which is a genius idea for storing your linens.

The bedding looks beautiful on the bed, it has gorgeous chunky buttons, and drapes beautifully. The white I chose can be mixed and matched with other bedding. I mixed mine up with some of my favourite pink pillow cases from Ikea.

The bedding  feels so soft and smooth, and I absolutely love the relaxed look. I wouldn't call it crumpled as that makes it sound un cared for almost. I'd prefer to describe it as effortlessly relaxed.  But most importantly at the moment in the heat wave were currently experiencing in the UK, it really is much cooler to sleep in.

So I'm now a complete convert to linen and can't imagine going back. And why Piglet? As a small business owner myself I'm passionate about sharing the love when I discover a fellow small business doing great stuff. The customer service is excellent and the founder, Jessica is just so lovely.

The guys at Piglet believe  that a beautiful home is a comfortable home,  and  that simple, high quality and low maintenance basics are key. And so they developed their range of durable linen bedding and pyjamas that get softer and softer with wear.  Simple, practical yet beautiful is an ethos close to my heart  and Im absolutely thrilled that Piglet are offering you 15% off their bedding if you use the code LISA15.

Piglet kindly provided the bedding for this post, but all opinions and words are mine. I would only ever  accept gifted products that I need and/or love and I will only ever recommend them if I genuinely love them.

Use the code LISA15 for 15% off all orders at Piglet **** PLEASE NOTE THIS DISCOUNT CODE HAS NOW EXPIRED. SORRY TO DISAPPOINT BUT THANKS FOR BEING SO UNDERSTANDING ****
