400 g (14 oz) tin of cannellini beans drained and rinsed (butter beans work well too)
4 artichoke hearts in oil (find these in jars normally near the pesto!)
2 tspb flat leaf parslet
1 garlic clove
Grated zest and juice of half a lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Method
This is easy - just add all the above ti a food processor an whizz until just smooth
Serve with some parsley on top, with breadsticks. It also tastes delicious on chunks of french bread
Muhamarra - roasted red pepper dip
this is so simple , spicy and delicious. It’s great with slices of baguette
ingredients
1 jay roasted red peppers, drained
3 cloves of garlic crished
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chilli flakes (or more if you prefer it hotter)
1 tsp olive oil
100 g walnuts
Basically you pop everything in the food processor and blend until smooth . Serve with a few walnuts on top
