ABOUT OUR COCONUT FIBRE CLEANING PRODUCTS
We can help you reduce plastic in your home here at Lisa Valentine Home with our plastic free, eco friendly coconut fibre cleaning products.
Every time we wash up with a polyester/plastic scrub pad, microplastic particles can break off and be washed down the sink which could then end up in our waterways and oceans. So if you’re looking at ways to reduce the use of plastic at home, our range of Coconut fibre cleaning products are worth a try.
WHAT IS COCONUT FIBRE?
Coconut fibre, or Coir is a natural fibre extracted from between the hard internal shell of the coconut and the outer coat of the coconut. As well as being totally natural, coconut fibre is naturally antibacterial, so our scourers and brushes are free from toxic chemicals, as well as being recyclable and biodegradable.
If you’re trying to cut down on plastic at home, coconut fibre is a great choice as it does an extremely effective job of cleaning, yet the products are completely biodegradable, natural and won’t leave any plastic waste.

HOW EFFECTIVE ARE THEY AT CLEANING
In a word, very! Our coconut fibre brushes and scourers are non-scratch, so are suitable for non-stick frying pans, great on hard surfaces like the cooker hob or stove top, and safe for enamel sinks and baths. They make really easy work of cleaning dried or burnt on food and are great for cleaning bathroom sinks and baths too.
After use, just rinse it and store it in a dry place rather than letting it sit in water. It should last for months, after which you can throw the scrubs into the food waste bin.
To top it all off, all our coconut fibre products are completely plastic free, right down to the packing - a simple card box or sleeve
